1. General Information
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed on ikigaiya.eu. Ikigaiya ships from Belgium to customers in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, and Germany.
All orders are prepared and dispatched on business days (Monday–Friday, excluding Belgian public holidays).
2. Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.
During peak periods (holiday sales, new product releases, etc.), processing time may be slightly longer. If we expect a significant delay, we will notify you by email.
3. Delivery Time
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Ikigaiya will deliver your order within 30 days of receiving full payment.
If we are unable to meet this deadline, we will notify you in writing and agree on a new, reasonable delivery date. If we miss the new deadline as well, you have the right to cancel your order.
4. Shipping Destinations
We ship to the following countries:
- Belgium
- The Netherlands
- Luxembourg
- France
- Germany
We reserve the right to refuse orders with a delivery address outside these countries.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Delivery address
- Package weight and size
- Chosen shipping method
The final shipping price is displayed before you complete your order.
6. Order Tracking
Most shipments include tracking. You will receive an email with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched. If tracking is unavailable for certain product types or destinations, this will be noted at checkout.
7. Delivery Issues
7.1 No One Available at Delivery Address
If no one is available at your address at the time of delivery, please follow the instructions of the delivery service responsible for your order.
7.2 Damaged Packages
Upon delivery, please inspect the packaging for any damage. If your order arrives damaged:
- Do not accept the delivery
- Contact us immediately
- We will provide the necessary instructions for next steps
7.3 Lost or Delayed Packages
If your package appears to be delayed or lost, please contact us at contact@ikigaiya.eu. We will open an investigation with the carrier. We cannot issue a refund or replacement until the carrier has concluded its investigation.
7.4 Incorrect Address
You are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. If an incorrect address leads to a failed delivery or lost package, additional shipping fees may apply for resending. We cannot refund items lost due to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
8. Risk of Loss
In accordance with EU consumer law, the risk of loss or damage passes to you only when you physically receive the goods. If the carrier leaves the package at a requested safe place or drop-off point, it is considered delivered.
9. Duties & Taxes
All orders are shipped within the European Union and include VAT. No additional customs duties apply.
10. Returns
You have the right to return your order within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. Products must be returned in their original condition, including all components and accessories.
